Meal Plan #1

Almost every week my parents buy a Bountiful Basket.  You might want to see if Bountiful Baskets delivers in your area.  For $25 you can get delicious organic produce.  Regular baskets (non-organic) are only $15.  This is what was in the organic basket this week: apricots, lettuce, cucumbers, squash, bananas, kale, strawberries, carrots, and blueberries.

This is what was in the non-organic basket, which my grandma picked up this week: apples, nectarines, plums, cauliflower, carrots, celery,  bananas, grapes, and mushrooms.

This is what we are going to make with the ingredients:

Saturday: Lamb Burgers and Cucumber Salad

Sunday: Steaks, Roasted Garlic Cauliflower,and a pear-nut salad

Monday: Beef Stroganoff  and a green salad

Tuesday: Meatloaf, Sautéed Kale, and Fruit Salad

Wednesday: Spaghetti, a green salad, and Bruschetta

Thursday: Grilled Chicken, a green salad, and Roasted Carrots

Friday: Hamburgers and whatever is left over

I am also going to make different desserts with the extra fruit.
