These don’t last long in our house!

Makes 5-6 dozen


1 1/2 cups butter, softened

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 1/2 cups peanut butter

3 eggs

3 teaspoons vanilla

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats

3 teaspoons baking soda

3/4 teaspoon salt

2-3 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

With an electric mixer, cream the butter and both sugars.

Beat in the peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla.

In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt.

Stir the flour mixture into the creamed mixture.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Drop the dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

And now the best part…EAT!
