Very minty with lots of  chocolate chips!

Serves 6-8


2 cups milk

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon peppermint extract

1 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips

In a large bowl, mix together the milk, cream, sugar, salt, vanilla, and peppermint extracts.

Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Pour the mixture into an ice cream machine.

Freeze according the manufacturer’s instructions, adding the chocolate chips about 10 minutes into the freezing.

Once the ice cream has thickened…

…spoon it into a container and freeze for at least 1 hour.
